I was born to dance.

Freeze Arrow, a new type of arrow that is held down until the end, is finally here! The scroll speed of arrows can also be increased as an option.

In addition to traditional dance music, this game includes trance, a popular music genre at the time.

"MAX 300", created as a new boss song after the "PARANOIA" series, was surprisingly very difficult, and many advanced players struggled to defeat it.

DDRMAX features 42 songs. DDRMAX2 and DDR Extreme retain 38 of these. Songs which do not appear in all three games include:
