Dance Dance Revolution A series

Dance Dance Revolution A20 Plus with Konami e-Amusement support is available exclusively at the following Greater Toronto Area (GTA) locations in Canada:

Please note that in 2022 and 2023, the DDR machine at Dave & Buster's Oakville was offline due to the arcade relocating its DDR machine and removing its Pump It Up Prime machine. Since 2024, this machine is online again.

The following is a history of the Dance Dance Revolution A series.

Dance Dance Revolution A (2016)

Dance Dance Revolution is back!

This is the first international arcade release of Dance Dance Revolution since the so-so release of Dance Dance Revolution X2 in 2010 and 2011. DDR A was released in Asia, Australasia, the United States and Canada throughout 2016 for online play. Europe received an offline version on December 15, 2017, as well as offline updates in August 2018 and May 2021.

Dance Dance Revolution A20 (2019)

Celebrating 20 Years of DDR!

This game reintroduced Course play: four songs with no breaks!

Dance Dance Revolution A20 Plus (2020)

DDR A20 with a little extra!

This game improved upon the regular and short-lived A20 release.

Dance Dance Revolution A3 (2022)

Only available in Asia, Australasia and the USA!

DDR A3 was released on March 17, 2022, on golden cabinets. An upgrade was made available for other cabinets on June 22, 2022, though in the United States, this was limited to the state of Hawaii.

On August 19, 2023, DDR A3 was made available at all Round1 USA locations. Dave & Buster's has declined the update, so its machines in Canada and the USA continue to run DDR A20+.

Imported DDR A3 machines do exist in Canada. In Toronto, one arcade in Chinatown on Spadina Avenue has a DDR A3 machine. It's an upgraded black HD model. In the Vancouver area, two arcades each have DDR A3. One has a red SD machine, while the other is a white HD machine.
